You are reading this blog and so it means one thing. Finally, finally, I have a website! Well, about time. Now we know if I can do this so can you. You can do what you make up your mind to do. For me, I had to get rid of the excuses and set my mindset with determination to get this site done. I made it a priority. Yes, set your priority and get working. By the way, I am not the most tech savvy person. So of course, I hired someone to assist me with the website because that is what I had to do to get it done.
I share this story to inspire you to begin and finish whatever task/project you have been wanting, thinking or talking about doing. Some times, our very selves get in the way of finishing or even starting a project. We might think, I am to busy right now, don’t have the money, don’t now how, want to learn more about it, need to first discuss it with all my girl friends, that’s my personal favorite. Here you go, just fill in the blank yourself (my excuse). Get all the excuses out of the way and out of your system. Now, physically go do it. Get up and get started with your project/goal. You want it then make it happen. You will figure out how to do it as you go along. You don’t really need to know all the answers before you begin. If you make a mistake, great now you learned what not to do and continue moving forward with your goal. Go with the flow get started and finish.
Perhaps, your task/project has to do with fitness, health, relationship, work, kids, grand kids, travel or adventure. My task was the website not a big deal but for some procrastinating reason I was not getting it done. Some times you just need to begin with a small task. For example, a phone call or reading an article to create positive momentum towards your goal. Once it is checked off the list as finished it gives a feeling of accomplishment. Honestly, brings on those feel good endorphins. It’s powerful! Imagine, just doing what you set out to do. High five!
Athletic friends, prioritize and get your task/project done.
Be inspired, be happy, be you,
Genny.
